 SOME DARDA MILESTONES

  • 1958: Establishment of the Helmut Darda Company
    The company Helmut Darda KG is founded by Helmut Darda in Blumberg, Germany.
  • 1967: Invention of the Hydraulic Stone and Concrete Splitter
    The hydraulic rock and concrete splitter is invented by the company's founder Helmut Darda. Patents were granted for the quality and uniqueness of the DARDA splitters.
  • 1993: Darda Systemtechnik GmbH. Development of the C 9 Splitting Cylinder
    The Darda Systemtechnik GmbH is created by Burkhard Darda and Gerhard Darda. The lightest Splitting cylinder in relation to its splitting strength is developed. Every single kilogram of weight produces 9.1 tons of splitting power.
  • 1996: Development of the C 12 Splitting Cylinder
    Development of the worlds highest performance Splitting Cylinder in relation to its size. The theoretical Splitting strength of this tool amounts to 800 tons.
  • 1997: Development of the CC 260 Concrete Crusher
    Development of the amazingly light-weight 59 kg but nevertheless very efficient CC 260 Concrete Crusher for the BROKK 40. Darda has an 80% share of the world-wide market of Hydraulic Splitting devices.
  • 1998: Exclusive representation for Brokk. Development of the HCS 5 Combi-Shears
    On January 1 Darda takes on the exclusive distributorship for the Swedish Brokk demolition robots in Germany and Austria.
  • 1999: Opening of the branch office in Peking, China
    Opening of the branch office in Peking, China.
  • 2000: Development of the CC 560 Concrete Crusher
    Development of the new CC 560 Concrete Crusher with 410 kg dead weight for mini excavators and demolition robots.
  • 2001: Development of the CC 320 Concrete Crusher
    Development of the new CC 320 Concrete Crusher with 139 kg dead weight for mini excavators and demolition robots.
  • 2004: Development of Combi-Shear HCS 6
    Development of the Combi-Shear HCS 6 in amplification to the previous Combi-Shear HCS 5. Now also with sickle blades and updated jaws for crushing concrete.
  • 2005: Development of the CC 420 Concrete Crusher
    Development of the new CC 420 Concrete Crusher with 240 kg dead weight for mini excavators and demolition robots.
  • 2006: Buy out by Brokk AB, Sweden
    Buy out of Darda GmbH by Brokk AB, Sweden as of July 04.
  • 2008: Development of Steel Cutter CC 420 S
    Development and launch of the first Darda Steel Cutter CC 420 S with 275 kg dead weight for mini excavators and demolition robots.
  • 2009: New formation office Darda-Kinshofer in China. Development of Concrete Crusher CC 520
    Set-up of independent office, Darda-Kinshofer (Beijing) Construction Machinery Co. Ltd. in China. Development and launch of the Concrete Crusher CC 520 with 350 kg dead weight for mini excavators and demolition robots.
  • 2010: Development of the Concrete Crusher CC 700
    Development of the new CC 700 Concrete Crusher with 530 kg dead weight for excavators and demolition robots.
  • 2012: Development of Steel Cutter CC 700 S
    Development and launch of the second Darda Steel Cutter CC 700 S with 620 kg dead weight for mini excavators and demolition robots.
  • 2013: Launching of new Hydraulic Power Packs EP2, BP2, AP2
    Now with two-stage pump, oil filter cap with strainer, box for tools, connection for three tools and much else.
  • 2014: Development of Tank Cutter TC120
    Continuous cutting, safe alternative due to cold cut, with hydraulic rotation.
  • 2015: Development of MultiCutter MC200
    Universal machine driven cutting tool for 1,2 – 2,8 ton excavators or Brokk 100.
  • 2016: Introduction of the machine-guided C20 stone slitting cylinder
    To be used for the diverse and special gap requirements both horizontally and vertically. In combination with excavators of the 5 - 7 t class or Brokk 280 / Brokk 400.
  • 2018: Introduction to larger, more powerful crushers
    The CC440 / CC480 / CC580 for use in conjunction with the new and more powerful Brokk machines.
  • 2019: Development of the new, larger MC300 Shear
    The MC300 Shear is developed for the Brokk 300/500/520D, encompassing 300mm jaw opening for soft-strip work.
